Special meal

The ‘mothers’ told us we would not be going straight home after school this afternoon, because we’d go out for dinner. “Really?” we all asked at once. “But why?” was the next question. Someone wants to throw us a party, so that’s why we’re going. Of course, we all wanted to know where we would be going, but unfortunately, that was a surprise. We would have trouble concentrating at school as we were all excited about this news.
Finally, at the end of the school day we set off. We drove for 20 minutes and ended up at a Chinese Hotpot restaurant which looked very beautiful and luxurious. There were 40 of us and we could eat whatever we wanted, as it was an all-you-can-eat restaurant. There was food you could cook yourself in two different flavors of broth and other lovely ready-made food. There was a choice between meat and fish and some of the children and ‘mothers’ enjoyed the delicious king prawns and shrimps because they don’t normally eat them. We dined for two hours and ooooooh, it was delicious and fun to do this together. Thank you so much.
